Hinsdale Youth Center           The purpose of the Youth Center is to help children in 5th-8th grade deal constructively with the challenges of early adolescence by providing positive recreational, social, educational, and service opportunities, in a supervised environment. The Youth Center is an independent, not-for-profit organization serving the area encompassing Community School District 181.     We are located between Public Works and the Hinsdale Humane Society.     It costs $0 to use the Youth Center for drop-in (Drop-in is after school on Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays until 6pm, any middle-school aged student can use the center during drop-in hours) or you can become a member for as little as $35 a year.         We have available: 2 pool tables, 3 computers and printers. 3 TV's with VCR, Play Station 2 and Nintendo 64, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, Arts and Crafts, Basketballs and Frisbees. We also have grade level dances. Participate in community functions and take fun trips during the school year!
