| The Rotary Run Charity Classic has something for every member of your family! On Sunday, October 15, 2017 you can participate in any of our race events: • Morgan Stanley 10K Run • Rooney 5K Run • Hinsdale Bank & Trust 3K Run • Molex 5K walk • The Birches Walk 'n Roll Mutt Strut Dog Walk Race day will also feature a school district 181 Mascot Race! After you race, stay for the food, awards and the new mascot race. Each event winds through the historic streets of Hinsdale and beautiful surrounding neighborhoods. All events begin and end at The Community House, located at 415 West Eighth Street, Hinsdale. During and after the race there is a morning of fun, activities and an awards ceremony. All events are held, rain or shine! Save $10 if you register before October 1! The event benefits the international causes of Rotary, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting changes in communities at home and abroad. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to : promote peace; fight disease, including Polio; provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; save mothers and children; support education; and grow local economies. The race also supports the Rotary Club of Hinsdale Foundation, which offers local scholarships and financial support of the mission of these amazing community organizations who have a daily positive impact on the lives within those in the western suburbs of Chicago: The Community House
