About Us
Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club (HJWC) was founded in 1949, making the 2020-2021 club year its 71st year. HJWC members are local leaders of volunteer and philanthropic service and have earned tremendous recognition from the GFWC and IFWC throughout the years. HJWC has been the recipient of numerous awards at the GFWC Convention and is continuously recognized for outstanding children’s programs, leadership, membership and fundraising. Over the last five years, HJWC has raised over one million dollars for deserving organizations in addition to thousands of hours club members have volunteered for area organizations in need. Most recently, HJWC has been named a ''Regional Rock Star'' for its contribution to the community during the COVID pandemic.
