Lawn Sprinkling Restrictions
|
|
| ... |
... |
Address: |
... |
Village Office, 19 East Chicago Avenue, Hinsdale, IL 60521 |
... |
| Info: |
Because the Village of Hinsdale receives water from Lake Michigan, water conservation measures are required by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Office of Water Resources, to restrict out door water use and to encourage conservation. |
| Lawn sprinkling restrictions go into effect on May 15, and remain in effect through September 15. During this period no lawn sprinkling is allowed between 11:00am and 3:00pm. A temporary permit is available to water newly seeded or sodded grass. Contact the Village if you have questions. If necessary, these restrictions can be expanded by the Village Manager; residents would be notified of any changes. |
